Imaging Lead – MRI

About the Role

An established independent healthcare provider in Reading is seeking an Imaging Lead – MRI to join their Imaging department. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a team in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Competency/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination (basic and advanced).
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching/Assessing/Mentorship qualifications.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and external regulatory bodies (e.g., Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06).
• Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certified.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A to C) or equivalent functional skills level 2.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
• A broad general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector, systems, and processes.
• Familiarity with the College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability.
