Recruitment and onboarding process
At All Counties Nursing we are continually seeking capable clinical staff. Our streamlined recruitment process ensures a quick and easy path to commencing work through us. Our process is completely virtual so you will be able to relax and register from the comfort of your own home.
Online Application form
Our onboarding process starts with a simple, secure application form. We ask you to provide us with up to date contact details, contacts and references and previous experiences in a care setting. Upon completing this we will ask for additional information in order to provide you with uniform and ID badge.
Initial Screening
After completing your initial application, one of our consultants will be in touch with you to discuss your experience within a care setting or the NHS we will also learn to understand what shifts and work patterns you would like to follow and get to know you personally. we will also confirm that you have a valid NMC pin, if we require any additional information somebody will be in touch shortly.
Nurse Interview
This stage only applies to anyone applying for a band 5 nursing role and above. This interview is with a qualified nurse to ask a series of patient care and calculations and dependent on passing this we will progress you to the next stage.
Referencing and checks
Once you have successfully completed the screening, we will then start the process of
obtaining references. To make this process as efficient as possible it would be beneficial if you could pre-empt your references to let them know that we will be in touch with them. At this point we will also conduct an enhanced DBS check.
Video meeting
Upon completion of successful reference and background checks the final stage will be a virtual meeting with one of our consultants where we will discuss your previous caring experiences and ensure that your goals align with ours. This will be more of an informal chat with the team, we will however ask you to show us your ID documents – but don’t worry all this information will be shared with you beforehand.
Welcome to the team!
Once you have been booked in for your first shift with us, you will receive a welcome package containing your ID badge, name badge, uniform and a care package with some goodies to see you through your first shift!
